Famous for the always freshest fish, the Restaurant Tapassol is situated in the Old Town of Funchal City, in a beautiful old building, with beautiful flowers, which was renovated in 1980 and offers a typical and pleasant atmosphere, where the regional dishes, the confectionery and the drinks meet the taste and preference of the most demanding visitor.

The head waiter welcomes our customers with a Madeira wine as aperitif and during a friendly conversation indicates the table.

On the ground floor there is a small and cosy dining room.

On the first floor there is another dining room with a balcony “terrace” surrounded by large windows, which allow the light into the room and the view to the beautiful garden and the Old Town, becoming an exceptional place to enjoy our dishes.

When the weather is nice this is an excellent place to have a meal.

Our waiters are prepared to speak with our customers in several languages, providing an efficient, professional and friendly service.
